I have a big ol crinoline now, which needs to be Put Away. What ways can a crinoline be nicely stored? What's the best way for the health of the crinoline? What's the best way for space saving health of my sanity? Is there any way the two can meet? :) Thanks in advance,

Re: crinoline storage?
Mon, December 31, 2007 - 5:27 PMI know some use the washing machine. I have once but I tend to wash them in my tub and let them hang dry then put them in the bags. It does not take too long :) if you have a newer washer with no stick in the middle then I think the machine will be fine because there is nothing for them to get stuck on. Some fluff dry on low in the dryer though I have not tried it :) -

Re: crinoline storage?
Tue, January 1, 2008 - 1:11 PMThat's great to know. Thanks, Liz and Robyn!
I just dread the thought of having to hand wash that thing, so I'm going to try for a gentle wash in the machines we have in my building and a cool dry. -

Tue, January 1, 2008 - 1:34 PMAnyone with whom you are irked? You could persuade them to put it on, then turn the hose on them. Just a thought.
