I need to adorn my jacket with some brown velvet. I found a piece that's kinda stretchy. Not sure it's the right type of material. If anyone has any, or knows where I can find some, would be greatly appreciated. Less than 1/2 yard would be more than enough.
That said, I've never done this type of thing myself. I'd like to fix the collar on this jacket as well. If anyone has the skill and time to work with me on it, let me know.

No wale cotton corderoy (corderoy without cutout stripes) can look like velvet and doesn't stretch. Corderoy may still be in commercial retail fabric stores right now. -
