Yup, but the knots remain the same.&#xD;
&#xD;
Some of the crazy regency/romantic presentations (as in "Neckclothitania") are just variations on what to do with the leftover fabric.&#xD;

Most of these are plastron knots and the rest are just passing one end over or under another.&#xD;

I stand corrected... I must be thinking of the fact that &#xD;
I was shown a lot of those ties to be long enough to go front to back &#xD;
and possibly once again around the neck before you could even consider &#xD;
starting on the Bow. &#xD;
&#xD;
but I have seen more than a handful of different presentations of the longer Ties.</summary>

There are only three knots one might need to know: The bow (presented here), the plastron (ascot) and the four-in-hand (what we know as the Windsor).&#xD;
